Peace
The Quaker Peace Testimony is the oldest such concern - it dates back to the 17th Century. Aotearoa/New Zealand Friends chose to write their own version in 1986/7, no doubt influenced by New Zealand's new and controversial non-nuclear stance. The statement outlines Quaker views on the imperative need for disarmament, an unequivocal opposition to all wars and violence, and a commitment towards the building of a peaceful world.
